Printed layer by layer, one piece at a time.
Zali Studios makes small-batch 3D printed goods, made to order in Ohio. Every piece is designed, printed and hand-finished here — nothing is mass produced, and nothing sits in a warehouse.
The collection
Digby Boy — mining diorama
A multi-part diorama: Digby crouched over a copper ore node, pickaxe in hand, on a sculpted ground base. Printed in parts and hand-assembled so the ore and the figure can take different finishes.
Digby Boy — standing figure
The standing pose, printed at 90mm as a single hand-finished figure with separate eye and body colours.
GrowShroom
A chunky printed mushroom with deep cap ridges that catch the light. Prints as one piece with no supports.
How a piece gets made
Slow manufacturing, on purpose. A single diorama can take fourteen hours on the printer and another two in hand-finishing.
Modeled from scratch
Every form starts as geometry we build ourselves, then gets tuned for how it will actually print.
0.12mm layers
Printed slowly in PLA. The visible layer lines are the point, not a flaw.
Assembled by hand
Multi-part pieces are cleaned up, colour-matched and assembled before they ship.
